Derby County hope to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat at home to Sunderland when they visit Mick McCarthy’s Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After the 2nd half capitulation on Saturday, Rams manager Billy Davies will be hoping for a stronger all-round performance whilst Wolves will be hoping to continue their fine start to the season which currently sees them 3rd – a 1-0 win at Leeds on Sunday gave them their fourth league win of the season.

Vital Quotes:

Wolves Team News:

Wolves may make changes for their 2nd game in 3 days, left back Charlie Mulgrew is expected to play after taking a knock to his ankle against Leeds.

Player to watch: Jay Bothroyd

Often looks like he can be bothered, but a great talent – his goal against Leeds was evidence of that.

Derby County Team News:

Who knows? I would expect to see a stiffer midfield, perhaps with Adam Bolder brought in. Hopefully Arturo Lupoli will be up front rather than out wide.

Player to watch: Matt Oakley

The skipper has been pretty impressive so far in his short Derby career – he’ll need to be this evening.
