Frank Lampard and Mason Mount as the young Chelsea player signs for a year long loan to Derby County
The problem I always find with loan players is if they show any sort of form they normally go back to their parent club but what is the situation with Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori?
There had been rumours in the press that the outstanding form of Mason Mount may prompt Chelsea to recall the midfielder, leaving Derby with a hole to fill in the middle of the part. Tomori, also a Chelsea loanee has also fitted well into the Rams back four and would also be missed especially at the moment with Curtis Davies recovering from injury.
Fear not though Rams fans! as manager Frank Lampard has stated that both players have been signed on a season-long loan and will be with the Rams for the season.
Mount has been scoring and creating goals in the Derby County midfield and has fitted well into what Frank Lmpard is trying to do to the Rams offensive capabilities. His form has led to International recognition, getting his first England U21 call-up.
