Hoping to make his first appearance against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup

Martyn Waghorn will be hoping to make his first appearance at Old Trafford against Manchester United in the 3rd Round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday 25th September.

Waghorn made his debut against United when playing for Sunderland, losing 0-4 to the Red Devils, but the recent Rams signing has never played at Old Trafford before which he is understandably excited about.

The Rams will be hoping that the game will be a competitive challenge for the Rams side now on a roll after four successive wins in league and Carabao Cup competitions. United have tough league and European ties before the Cup game, which will decide who goes through to the last 16 of the competition, so cautious optimism at the moment in the Rams camp that they can catch United on an off evening and progress in the competition.

The TV cameras will be there on the night and Derby have been given an 8,500 seat ticket allocation for the game
