Winnall Delighted With Goal

Match winner Sam Winnall says he is delighted with his goal and is ready to take his chance when it comes along to win his place back in the side.

Winnall came off the bench to score the winner as The Rams beat Norwich City 2-1 at Carrow Road to extend their unbeaten run to six matches. Talking to dcfc.co.uk about the goals the on loan striker said:

“I`m delighted to get back on the scoresheet and now I just need to get back into the team. It is frustrating, but when you get your chance, you need to be prepared to take it and put the work in for the team, and I think that all of the substitutes can say that we did that. It doesn`t matter if I play one minute or the full match, I`ll always run myself into the ground and thankfully I`ve got a goal as the reward.”
