Huddlestone – Ledley Helps Add Balance To Midfield

Tom Huddlestone believes his partnership with Joe Ledley has brought balance to the The Rams` midfield and is at the heart of their recent run of results.

Ledley came to Pride Park on a short-term deal after being without a club at the end of the transfer window and has impressed since playing alongside Huddlestone as one of the deeper lying midfielders giving the team a far more solid look. Talking to dcfc.co.uk about their partnership and what it brings to the team Huddlestone said:

‘Myself and Joe can both play slightly deeper, but if we are needed to, we can be more advanced. The balance it gives us means that when one goes forward and the other sticks, we know the team is going to be in a good shape. He`s an experienced player that has played at the highest level for a number of years now. He brings in an added quality too.”
