Vital MotM v. Burton Albion – Jacob Butterfield

Jacob Butterfield was voted Man-of-the-Match by Vital Derby readers as The Rams were held to disappointing 0-0 draw with Burton Albion.

Burton were happy to put men behind the ball and take a point and their tactics worked well as Derby struggled to break down the massed defensive ranks. Butterfield and Will Hughes, second in the voting, saw plenty of the ball in midfield and kept plugging away but there was no joy at the end of the ninety minutes as they were held to a goalless draw.
