Vital MotM v. Aston Villa – Scott Carson

Vital Derby readers voted Scott Carson Man-of-the-Match as Derby County`s poor run of form continued as they lost 1-0 to Aston Villa.

Carson, a former Villa player, was one of the few players to come out of the game with any credit as he kept the home side at bay when they did threaten with substitute Mason Bennett coming second in the vote on his return to the team for the first time in two years.
