Tyrone Mears’ agent Willie McKay has said that Mears is expected to complete his move to Burnley today.
“Tyrone looked around the place and spoke to Owen. It went well.
He’s back on Monday and will probably sign on Monday.
He’s happy with what Owen Coyle has had to tell him. He’s happy with the way he wanted to play and the way Burnley are going to play.”
McKay was talking to the Evening Telegraph.
The defender will move to the Premier League side for a fee believed to be around £500,000.
