Lisbie back at Charlton

Rams on loan striker Kevin Lisbie could have well played his last game for the Rams as he has returned to Charlton for treatment to a hamstring injury, Lisbie, who has made a impact since joining the Rams, was due to play his final game on loan this weekend against Luton Town. Keen to hold onto both Lisbie and Wright, the Derby boss has been in touch with both Sheffield United and Charlton about the possibility of holding onto both players for the remainder of the season. Although it may be the case that 24 hour recalls will have to be put in place to convince both clubs to do so.

Westley has been busy looking at new talent too, although Christopher Nzinga and Evangelino Valentim both played in the 3-1 loss to Boston United at Moor Farm, they are deemed not to be the sort of player Derby are looking for.

However Nigerian Valentim has been asked to come back for pre season training. The 6 foot 7in striker needs to work on his fitness before he is at a level deemed good enough for Derby.

Murdo Mackay is also looking to bring in a Premiership player on loan before this weekends match

Elsewhere Richard Jackson played 60 minutes of the behind-closed-doors game at Moor Farm. He came off with an eye injury, dislodging a metal place inserted a few years ago from a previous training ground accident.
