Duo Injury Doubts Ahead Of Leeds Clash

There are doubts over two of Derby County`s forwards going into the clash with Leeds United at Elland Road tonight.

Johnny Russell missed the victory at Carrow Road on Sunday having recently won his place back in the side but was replaced by Bradley Johnson as The Rams beat Norwich City 2-1. Matej Vydra has also been in great form in recent weeks but went off at halftime in that win and may not be ready to go again this evening.

Talking to dcfc.co.uk about Russell`s injury manager Gary Rowett said:

“It will probably be a little bit too soon, but we`ll check this morning and see how he is. He`s made good progress since the injury and we don`t think it`s too serious. Vydra felt his calf in training the day before, and then in the game, so we`ll see how he reacts.”
