Cyrus Christie could be in line to replace Seamus Coleman for the Republic of Ireland`s upcoming internationals with the Everton man missing out with a broken leg.

Coleman broke his leg against Wales back in and Christie may be the choice to replace him at rightback after praise from Martin O`Neill in the national press. O`Neill was quoted in The S*n as saying:

‘It is a tough task trying to replace Seamus. He came in against Gibraltar, got us a goal, headed one off the line two minutes later. I’ve got a lot of faith in him and I think he can do it. It looks obvious that Cyrus wants to do it.”
