Andreas Weimann`s loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers is over and with manager Paul Lambert having left the club he could be heading back to Pride Park on a permanent basis.

Lambert took Weimann to Molyneux on loan in January having managed him previously at Aston Villa and there was talk of the loan deal including a clause for a permanent deal in the summer but with Lambert now being replaced by Nuno Espirito Santo it remains to be seen what will happen. With The Rams also having a new manager since Weimann last pulled on a Derby shirt it will be interesting to see whether he is given a chance to show what he can do, whether Wolves are still interested or if he will be shown the door as part of Gary Rowett`s re-building process.
