Matej Vydra Championship Golden Boot winner 2017-18 season
An excellent end to the regular season as the Rams make it to the playoff’s and an added bonus as Matej Vydra wins the Championship golden boot.
Vydra has scored 21 league goals this season, scoring in the final game today and is a major reason Derby County have finished in the playoff positions. His goals could also have a bearing on the playoffs themselves, as Derby prepare to take on Fulham in the two-leg semi-final.
The playoff games start in just five days time, Friday 11th May, when the Rams entertain Fulham at Pride Park. The return leg being played on Monday 14th May.
