Luke Varney has completed his loan move to Sheffield Wednesday.
Much like he said last season when Varney joined Wednesday on loan Nigel Clough has said that this is a move that was needed.
“Luke needs to be playing games and clearly he will get a better opportunity at Sheffield Wednesday at this moment in time.”
Clough was talking to the Evening Telegraph.
The 26-year-old will stay at Hillsborough until January.
