Mile Sterjovski will finally complete a return to Australia this summer with a deal going through on Friday.

The 30-year-old is in Australia on international duty, he scored in a 2-0 win over Bahrain in Sydney, and is believed to have agreed a three-year contract with Perth Glory who recently signed Andy Todd on a free transfer.

Sterjovski was also attracting interest from fellow A-League side Central Coast Mariners and Gold Coast United and will leave Derby on a free transfer despite having a year to run on his currently contract with it agreed it was best for the midfielder to leave as Nigel Clough couldn’t offer him any assurances of first team football.
