Derby County may listen to offfers for Marcus Tudgay, a winter transfer target of Sheffield Wednesday.

Rams boss Phil Brown said: ‘It is my job to make recommendations to the board about the players.

‘If a certain figure is offered for a certain player then my recommendation will be ‘yes, we will accept that’.’

‘If the figure is below that value, then the player will stay at Derby. That’s business.’

Despite Brown’s view that every player has his price, he’s looking to extend Tudgay’s contract. ‘We’ve spoken to Marcus’ agent about a new deal,’ said Brown.
