Rams Bid For Hanley?

Derby County are being linked with Newcastle United defender Grant Hanley with the national press reporting they have put a bid for the defender.

The Daily Mirror has reported that The Rams have tabled an offer of £4million for the 25-year-old as Gary Rowett looks to re-shape his squad for next season. Hanley made only 10 appearances under Rafa Benitez as Newcastle claimed the Championship title a returned to the Premership at the first attempt.

With the defender looking likely to be allowed to leave St James’ Park he could be the first part of the new look Derby squad if the reports are correct.
