Paul Jewell was bitterly disappointed after Derby’s 1-1 draw with Forest on Sunday, even more so after a missed penalty and a dubiously disallowed goal.

‘We have just missed a penalty and their goalkeeper makes a great save from the corner, then we score again from the second. It’s a great goal.

‘You look and Forest aren’t even complaining. I have never felt so aggrieved in my life.

‘It would have been a great result for everyone in a game where we hadn’t played particularly well.’

Jewell was speaking after the match.

Tito Villa put through his own net to give Forest the lead, but he made up for his error to equalise. With Forest down to 10-men Nacer Barazite was denied by a penalty save from former Rams goalkeeper Lee Camp and then Miles Addison had a header ruled out, all of which infuriated Jewell.
