Derby To Sign West Brom’s Wood?

Another transfer that Derby could make before today’s 6pm transfer deadline is Chris Wood.

The 18-year-old is being linked with a loan move to Pride Park with it believed that Nigel Clough has made an enquiry to West Brom for the striker and is just waiting for an answer from Roberto Di Matteo.

Wood is a New Zealand international who appeared in all three of their World Cup matches in South Africa, all as a substitute, and also featured as a substitute against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
