Two of Derby County`s strikers went out on loan before the transfer window shut with Chris Martin moving to Reading and Mason Bennet joining Notts County.

Martin was forced further down the pecking order when Cameron Jerome moved to Pride Park from Norwich City earlier in the month with speculation linking him to a move to Sunderland. With that deal reportedly falling through over the weekend Martin agreed to a temporary switch to the Madejski Stadium until the end of the current season on the final day of the transfer window.

Bennett joined Kevin Nolan`s Notts County until the end of the season as they look to bolster their attacking options as they chase promotion from League Two.
