Bryson – Players Working Hard

Craig Bryson knows the Derby County squad will be working hard over the summer to ensure they are ready to go for pre-season training when the players report back.

Having made no secret of his desire to improve the fitness of his players during the off season Gary Rowett has given all of the squad their own plans to work over the summer. Talking to dcfc.co.uk about the extra training Bryson said:

“It`s like we are doing a pre, pre-season! There`s no hiding place and we have our own individual things that we have to do over the summer. I am not sure what the consequences are if we don`t do what is asked of us, but I can assure you that the manager and his staff wouldn`t be happy about it! You don`t want to be left behind in pre-season. As a squad, we want to do well and put this season right so if we can get ahead of other teams by doing this in the off-season, then everyone will do it.”
