Bent Makes Burton Move

Darren Bent has agreed to join Burton Albion on loan and will remain at the Pirelli Stadium for the rest of the season.

Bent suffered a hamstring injury in pre-season and despite returning to full fitness has had to make do with turning our for the Under-23 side. The former England striker, who has scored 28 goals in 84 appearances for The Rams, will not be able to play when the two sides meet at the Pirelli Stadium in April. With his contract up in the summer Bent will look to make the most of his playing time as he is likely to be looking for a new club next season.
