Jermaine Johnson is still to make his Derby debut, and has even been loaned out to Stafford Rangers this season, but this hasn’t stopped him being given a new contract.

The 19-year-old came through the Rams academy after he was picked up following his release by Chelsea as a schoolboy and the defender signed a short-term professional deal last summer, which has now been extended until the end of the season.

  • With all the bad Weather about, Could be the opporunity to get some of the injured back to full fitness. Should we have a winter break?

  • Sometimes loaning out player just to get first team games, does the player good and he comes back wiser and better prepared.
