Wisdom Deal Close?

Andre Wisdom is awaiting final clearance from his medical ahead of completing his move to Pride Park.

The Rams hoped to have the deal tied up before they head to Tenerife tomorrow but the medical he underwent on Wednesday has not been completed. Talking to the Derby Evening Telegraph about the hitch manager Gary Rowett said:

‘He has still got one outstanding thing on his medical that still hasn’t been cleared up yet, so we just need to make sure that all gets passed off. You are talking about, in the Championship, big sums of money involved and the players are amazing assets for the clubs. So we just have to make sure all the boxes have been ticked. Hopefully, in Andre’s case it is just a technicality.”
