Weimann – I Needed To Be More Positive

Andreas Weimann was told he needed to be more positive to regain his place in the Derby County side by Gary Rowett prior to his recent return to the team.

Having had a spell on the sidelines Weimann spoke to Rowett to find out what he needed to do to win his place back and he told dcfc.co.uk:

‘After I hadn`t played for a few games, I went through to see the manager and asked what I needed to do to get myself back in his thinking. All he said to me was to keep training like I have been, but when I do get my chance, I had to be more positive and take players on. I feel like I have taken that on board since coming back into it.’
