Curtis Davies was voted Man-of-the-Match by Vital Derby readers for the 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest.

The Rams looked solid defensively stopping their hosts from having a shot on target and Davies led by example in the centre of Derby’s defence. The full results were as follows:

Davies – 80%
Jerome – 20%

And here is the main man having a joke off with Tom Huddlestone.  Just a moment of light-hearted fun before we turn our attention to the run in for the Rams for the 2017/18 season.

The official site stats say Curtis has played 37 times for the first team during which we had 17 clean sheets. His own stats include 96 interceptions and 31 blocks.

Davies was Gary Rowett’s first signing on joining Derby County as manager. The 32-year-old has certainly brought experience to the defence.
