Gary Teale has been recalled into the Scotland squad for their World Cup qualifiers with Holland and Iceland.

Teale, who was deemed surplus to requirements under Paul Jewell, has forced himself back into the clubs thinking under Nigel Clough showing some fine form in the process, which has seen former Rams manager George Burley recall the winger.

Kris Commons should have fully recovered from his calf injury by the time the fixtures come round, from the end of March, so he has also been called up again.

Clough has however allowed young Serbian striker Aleksander Prijovic to join Northampton on a one-month loan. Prijovic was signed by Jewell last summer but hasn’t featured in the first-team as yet, but has already spent time on loan with Yeovil this season.
