Super Rams a TV hit

The Rams are flying high in the Championship, and their success has been recognised with Sky Sports opting to show three consecutive games live on TV. At present the Rams sit three points behind leaders Birmingham City, and there St Andrew’s encounter has been moved back a day and will now take place on Friday March 9th, with a 7.45pm kick off.

Rams Coach Billy Davies has told us all that it`s a long way to go, and he echoed them thoughts after the Preston game. He said: “We are ahead of schedule, that’s for sure. Nobody had thought for one second that we would be where we are in such a short period of time. We always plan for a long term strategy.
‘It’s remarkable what we have done. We have got to the 50 points mark – two more and we will be safe of relegation!’
The Blues clash will be the Rams’ third successive Sky game, on the back of a trip to the Stadium of light to meet Sunderland (Monday February 26) and the home clash against former Rams midfielder Geraint Williams` side Colchester United (Friday March 2.

The last live match for the Rams was the unforgettable game at Home Park against Plymouth Argyle in October with the Rams losing 1-3 to a ten-man Argyle side. In all three TV games it will be an opportunity for revenge for Derby, as they were beaten 1-2 at home against Sunderland, lost 3-4 at Colchester and were beaten 0-1 at home to Birmingham City. Let`s hope its good viewing!!!
Another game switched is the home game against Queens Park Rangers, but not for TV purposes, it has been moved forward by 24 hours and will now take place on Tuesday March 13 (7.45pm).
