Straight Hendrie And Stewart Swap Confirmed

Jordan Stewart and Lee Hendrie, as had been expected, swap clubs on Tuesday.

27-year-old defender Stewart, who had already been told that he didn’t feature in Nigel Clough’s plans, saw his Rams contract terminated with Sheffield United terminating the contract of 32-year-old midfielder Lee Hendrie to enable both to swap clubs.

Neither were regulars at their clubs, and neither had any future, so this was the best thing to do.

Hendrie hasn’t found much form over the past two-years, with Sheffield United or during loan spells, so we just have to hope that Clough is the man to bring this best form out of him?
