First Team Coach Paul Simpson says that Derby County will not prepare any differently ahead of the Play-Off Final against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

After blowing away Brighton in the semi-finals there has been almost a two week gap heading into the final with plenty of time for preparation and the press commitments that come with what some have called the richest game in football. With that out of the way The Rams are concentrating on preparations for the match but Simpson says that the game will not be treated any differently telling the Derby Evening Telegraph:

“If we are honest, you can never really get it out of your mind because it is such a big game to look forward to. We know the load the players need in a normal week when we have just got one game. We will travel on Friday and treat it the same as any away game. It is the next game for us. We may let the players go and see Wembley on Friday but that is the only thing we will do differently.”
