Leading scorer Theo Robinson has returned to training ahead of The Rams clash with Huddersfield Town on Saturday and Nigel Clough hopes to have him back in the squad for the match.

Robinson was left out of the squad for the FA Cup tie with Blackburn Rovers at the weekend after being diagnosed with tonsillitis but he has returned to training this week. The former Millwall striker has recently earned himself a call-up to the Jamaica squad for their World Cup qualifier against Mexico, talking to the Derby Evening Telegraph about his illness Clough said:

“He felt unwell on Friday and the doctor saw him and diagnosed tonsillitis straight away. It takes 48 hours for the antibiotics to kick in and he did a bit of training yesterday. Theo is not 100 per cent still but he is back out there, we`ll make sure he feels alright and hopefully he will be back in the squad at the weekend.”
