Derby County will act quickly to bring Luke Moore back to Pride Park once the transfer window opens again in January. Moore is set to return to West Bromwich Albion after the clash with Nottingham Forest but Nigel Clough is keen to have him back and hopes to have a deal done before the encounter with Millwall on January 3rd. Clough believes that Moore is getting better with each game he plays and, having not played much earlier this season, he is beginning to find his form and fitness after a run in the side. Clough told the Derby Evening Telegraph:

“He was a little bit quiet at Bristol City but I thought his all-round game against Reading last Saturday – apart from getting a goal, which is ultimately a striker`s job – was excellent. He had a very good 45 minutes in our win at but his performance was stretched over the 90 minutes against Reading, which was very encouraging. He looked fit and strong over the full period of the game.”
