Transfer rumour, or is it fact on the Twitter World this morning. The Rams are being linked with a young attacking midfielder from Mexico. Roberto Alvarado (19) has had trials with Manchester United and Sunderland in 2014 and the following year with Leicester City. Tthe trials took place when Alvarado was only 15 years of age.
This photograph appeared of Frank Lampard and Alvarado on Twitter, but we think this was taken a few years ago, possibly when Alverado was over here on his trials.
Frank Lampard is looking at the possibility of bringing exciting young Mexican midfielder Roberto Alvarado in on loan from Cruz Azul. Alvarado recently had trials with Manchester United in 2015. Deal is there if Derby want it. #DCFC #dcfcfans pic.twitter.com/MixUxYuu0y

In another Tweet, there are rumours of interest in Rams Golden Boot winner Matej Vydra from Leeds United. Strange however as Leeds currently don’t have a manager. Never the less it is reported that a fee of over £12m has been put forward and possibly with an added player exchange involved in the deal. We suspect that Frank Lampard will want a say in where, if anywhere, Vydra is off to in the closed season and at present, he is preparing for the World Cup and his punditry work for the BBC. Meanwhile, Pride Park gets a mention as it has been voted 2nd best overall club in the Championship just behind Aston Villa. The vote was from Championship club supporters and covered criteria such as facilities, view, location and atmosphere.
