With all the talk of dressing room split between the players the club have grouped together and will travel in style for this weekends FA Cup 5th round clash with Plymouth Argyle.

The Rams have hired a 31-seater Scot-airways Dorner 328 – Billy Davies must have shares in the company!!! – to fly from East Midlands Airport to Plymouth Airport tomorrow.

With the Rams at home to Stoke City in the Championship on Wednesday, the club have decided that air travel will give them a few hours extra preparation for the game. The flight time is about one hour, but by road, the 254-mile journey would take about five hours.

Davies said: ‘The club have recognised the need to do all we possibly can to prepare the players for the remaining matches of the season.
‘It’s very important that, with the Stoke game on the Wednesday night, we recover from our efforts at Plymouth as quickly as we can and we believe a short flight will help us do that.
‘As we enter the business end of the season, that extra little one per cent we’re able to get out of the players here and there could be very helpful in achieving our aims.’

There are still a few tickets available for Saturday’s match are priced at £22 for adults, £15 for fans over 65 and full-time students, and £6 for fans under 16.
They are available from the Pride Park ticket office or by calling 0870 444 1884.
