Derby County have announced a pre-season friendly against West Bromwich Albion to end their warm up for the 2013/14 season.

The Baggies will make the short trip to Pride Park on Saturday, July 27th to take on Nigel Clough`s side in the final game of their pre-season preparations. The West Midlands side finished eighth in the Premiership last season, talking to the Derby Evening Telegraph about the game Clough said:

“We`re delighted that Steve Clarke and his Albion side will be heading to Pride Park in the build-up to next season. I have no doubt they will provide us with a stern test, which will be ideal in our preparations for the new season.”

The full programme begins with a trip to Ireland to take on Dublin based side Bohemian on Saturday, July 13th before continuing as follows:

Tues 16th July – Port Vale (Away)
Fri 19th July – Bristol Rovers (Away)
Tues 23rd July – Burton Albion (Away)

There will also be games away to Buxton (Sat, 20th July) and Matlock (Tues, 30th July) for a Rams XI as part of the build-up.
