Rams striker Gers bound

Rams Scottish international striker Kenny Miller is reportedly set to quit the Rams and move back to Glasgow Rangers in the summer transfer window.

The 28-year-old has stated he didn`t have a get out clause in his Rams contract back in February when he told the News of the World: “I’ve another two years left at Derby and I don’t have a get-out clause, but we’ll wait and see what happens. If something like that was to come up, you would be silly to rule it out.”

It`s now reported he has a £1.5million clause inserted into his contract which allows him to depart Pride Park if the Rams are relegated back to the Championship at the end of the season.

If that was to happen Miller would be the first player to play for Rangers and Celtic before then moving back to Ibrox again.

Miller started his career with Hibernian, before joining Rangers and then Wolverhampton Wanderers. He then moved to Celtic with former Rams boss Billy Davies snapping him up from the Bhoys last summer
