Harry Wilson (59) is congratulated after scoring for Liverpool in their pre-season friendly against Chester City

Harry Wilson had talks over the weekend with Frank Lampard regarding a possible season-long loan of the promising young striker.

Wilson is also said to be now the subject of a late bid by former Derby County manager, Gary Rowett to tempt Wilson to Stoke City. A report by John Percy of the Telegraph, however, indicates the Rams may have the upper hand in Wilson’s decision.

The 21-Year-old Wrexham born striker has yet to play for his parent club, Liverpool but had a sensational few games with Hull  City in the Championship last season, scoring  7 goals in just 13 appearances for the Tigers.

Wilson has also played at every level from U17 upwards and has graced the full International stage 4 times, scoring a single goal against China. Another interesting fact about Wilson is he scored his first Professional goal against Nottingham Forest.
