The Rams management are considering having a reserve team again next season, the situation of fringe players not getting any first team action has pushed the Rams hand, and when, sorry, if the Rams are promoted they will play in the Premier League Reserves league next season.

The club’s previous board pulled the reserves out of the Premier Reserve League on the eve of the 2005/06 season.
But Davies has mentioned the possibility of starting up a team again and managing director Mike Horton said: ‘We were a bit disappointed we did not inherit a reserve side.

‘We decided not to do it this season because we did not have enough players but we agree that, all being well, we would like to have a Reserve team again.’

The Rams` fringe players have played in a number of private friendlies at Moor Farm over the season, in a combination with the young academy players. But a competitive reserves side would be beneficial for the club, and the spectators.

What do you think for a reserve side at the Rams?
