Terry Westley today reflected on Saturday’s awful display at Luton and admitted that Derby urgently need extra bodies.

With the emergency loan transfer market closing on Thursday, time is of the essence and Westley is fully aware of the need to act fast.

‘Our performance and result at Luton proved how much we need extra bodies,’ he told the Derby Evening Telegraph, whilst adding ‘This has been an ongoing thing over months,’ he added. ‘We have irons in the fire and we will have to concentrate all our efforts over the next next few days.’

There is no doubt that Derby took a severe step backwards on Saturday, and more loan signings are the only way of currently strengthening the squad – stick with Vital Derby for all the latest transfer news as we get it.
