Vydra scoring one of his goals that could earn him the Championship golden boot this season

The price for Derby County’s top striker Matej Vydra has been named, or so says the Bristol Post .

A fee of £11m is how much interested parties have supposedly be quoted by Derby County, this is just £3m more than the Rams paid for Vydra from Watford two years ago and is possibly a bargain price for a 22 goal Championship golden boot winner of last season.

Bristol City, Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion have already expressed an interest in the Czech Republic International.

Vydra still has two years left on his contract with Derby County but it is widely reported that Rams Chairman and owner Mel Morris is trying to reduce the wage bill and Vydra is one of the top wage earners at the club and any bid at the £11m or above would be agreeable to the Rams and may enable new manager Frank Lampard to move in the transfer market before the players return for pre-season training next week.
