The revolving door around Derby County`s goalkeeping position was in action again yesterday as changes were made on the last day of the ’emergency` loan window. Hull City recalled Matt Duke from his loan spell with the former Burton Albion goalkeeper having not made a single start for The Rams having been backup to Frank Fielding. With Duke due to start the final eight games of the season this left Derby short and Nigel Clough acted quickly to bring in Brad Jones from Liverpool, the Australian keeper was brought in from Middlesbrough during the summer but has so far seen a lack of action as backup for Pepe Reina and told dcfc.co.uk:

‘Obviously, Roy Hodgson signed me and I haven’t played yet under Kenny. Whenever you go out on to the pitch, you want to show people what you can do. I’ve got eight games to do that here at Derby and I’m looking forward to getting some matches under my belt.’

In other news on the final day for loans Dean Leacock was targeted by Hull City with the defender not having been able to break back into the first team having returned to injury but the deal fell through and he will remain at Pride Park for the remainder of the season.
