Derby County may have to move players on in order to bring in new faces to freshen up the squad but Nigel Clough believes his side will do so from a strong position on the back of last seasons performances. With the news that Steve Davies may be moved on and other squad players being available for transfer it looks as though The Rams squad will take on a new look next season. Clough knows that he may have to be patient in order to bring in his targets and told the Derby Evening Telegraph:

‘We’ve made some players available and moving players on who we don’t see as part of our future is the order of the day in terms of what we do in the market this summer, and we will move in on our targets from there. We will have to be patient, but we will also do it from a position of strength too because we have the basis of a very good squad here.”
