Derby County brought in striker Cameron Jerome from Norwich City for a fee reported to be £1.5m.

With Gary Rowett looking to add a little something different to his attacking options a deal was agreed with the player and club with Jerome putting pen-to-paper on an eighteen month deal with the option for a further year at the end of this period.

Jerome has scored 124 career goals in 514 appearances in spells at Middlesbrough, Cardiff City, Birmingham City, Stoke City, Crystal Palace and Norwich City before moving to Pride Park earlier this week.

Talking to dcfc.co.uk about the deal manager Gary Rowett said:

“I`m delighted to welcome Cameron to Derby County. We believe that he will fit into our style of play and will add something different to our forward options.”
