Rams 1st home game on TV

Media interest in the appointment of Frank Lampard to the manager’s role at Derby County has prompted the expected reaction and the Sky Sports camera will be at Pride Park for Lampard’s  First league game at home on Saturday 11th August, with kick-off now 5.30pm.

Derby of course feature in the very first league game of the 2018-19 season to be screened eight days earlier on Friday 3rd August, with an 8.00pm kickoff.

Interest in just how Lampard and his squad will fair in the first of his games in charge has been intense and supporters will see just what a pull their manager has in the game. He has already appointed his assistant in Jody Morris and new Head of performance Chris Jones, both of whom have worked with some of the Worlds top managers in the last few years and with Lampard’s playing experience and connections within the game, great things are expected of the 40-year-old in the next few months, a time that will tell if he has what it takes to be a top manager after his glittering playing career.
