QPR V Derby County Preview

|

The Rams meet up with the former player, coach and manager, Steve McClaren as they travel to Loftus Road Stadium for Saturday’s game.

Derby County travels to London tomorrow to take on QPR. The Hoops, of course, have former manager Steve McClaren as their new man in charge this season, which will add spice to the fixture.

Rangers have also been trialling a former Rams striker this week as Lewis Walker, son of Des Walker. Lewis was released from his contract with Derby County at the end of last season and is currently looking for a new club.

The Rams are in good spirit as they go to Loftus Road, a late equaliser on Wednesday evening earned them a point against a very good Norwich City side and news this week for Mason Mount of his call-up to the full England squad is an exciting and well-deserved development for the 19-year-old midfielder.

Mount will travel with the England squad for the Uefa Nations game against Croatia, who beat England in the World Cup semi-final a few months ago and former World Champions Spain.

David Webb, your referee for the match

Referee for the game on Saturday will be David Webb. Mr Webb has been in charge of Derby County once already this season in the 2-0 win over Preston North End on Saturday 25th August. He will be ably assisted by Lee Vanamore and Dean Treleauen. The 4th official will be Gavin Ward
