Nigel Clough has acted to help with the growing injury crisis amongst Derby County`s strikers by bringing Hungarian international Tamas Priskin to Pride Park on a loan deal that will last until January 2nd 2012. The 25-year-old striker has spent time at Watford, Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City and Ipswich Town during his time in England but has found himself out of the line-up under Paul Jewell at Portman Road this season. With The Rams missing a number of strikers Clough decided he needed reinforcements to boost the attack and Priskin jumped at the chance in order to get a few games under his belt. Talking to dcfc.co.uk about the move Priskin said:

‘I can’t wait for Saturday to come around and I’m really excited to be here. This is a great opportunity for me to play a few games and hopefully I can help the team at the same time. I’ve had a look at the fixture list and I see we’ve got three games inside a week, so I’ve arrived at a good time! As soon as I heard there was a chance of coming to Derby I said ‘I want to go’.’
