The move to bring striker Aleksander Prijovic to Derby looks like finally being completed this week. His former club, Parma, believed that they are entitled to some form of compensation as they played a part in his development as a player and chairman of football Adam Pearson has said this has now been agreed.

‘Parma, therefore, feel they are entitled to compensation.

‘It is complicated and it has taken a long time to get to the bottom of the matter.

‘Now we have come to an agreement with Parma over the level of compensation but that will have to remain undisclosed.’

Pearson was talking to the official website.

The 18-year-old signed as a free agent from Parma in the summer, or so we thought, but with this compensation now agreed with the Italian club the Swiss born Serbian international can now begin his Rams career, once the international clearance comes through, which can now be pushed through after this agreement with Parma.
