The pitch at Pride Park didn`t win a prize but came highly commended in a recent EFL award announcement.
The EFL announced the winners of the Grounds Team of the Season award for the current season with Derby County`s playing surface listed as highly commended. The award recognises the work put into producing the playing surface by the ground staff at each club. The Championship awards this year went to
