Gary Rowett says players want to come to Derby County as he looks to re-shape his squad over the summer transfer window.

Derby`s manager has been working hard behind the scenes to bring in new faces to freshen up the side an despite there being deals completed so far he has noticed a big difference in the willingness of potential targets to consider a move to Pride Park. Talking to dcfc.co.uk Rowett said:

“We`re in a fortunate position here at Derby in that people want to come to the club. For example, we spent about six weeks chasing James Wilson from Manchester United last summer but, I would imagine, he was waiting for Derby. We`re finding that players want to come to this club and that`s the first step. The next one, is making it happen, when you have the agents and finances to deal with.”
