Slim pickings in the press at the moment with the World Cup being almost upon us as club football takes a back seat but there have been stories involving two of Derby`s first team squad being linked with moves away from Pride Park during the close season.

Rob Hulse, who has long been rumoured to be on his way to pastures new, is reportedly interesting two Championship sides in the form of newly promoted Leeds United and Burnley, freshly relegated from the Premiership, according to the Daily Mail on Thursday. Hulse had a previous spell with Leeds scoring 18 goals in 52 appearances for the Yorkshire club and with only a year left on his contract it appears The Rams may be willing to do a deal.

Fresh from his goalscoring exploits in the Republic of Ireland`s 3-0 victory over Algeria, the News of the World report that Celtic are interested in taking the midfielder to Parkhead. The report suggests caretaker manager Neil Lennon is set to be handed the job on a permanent basis and his first piece of business will be to take the newly capped Green to Glasgow in a £1.5m deal.
